Technorati Authority and Technorati Blog Ranking are widely used to gauge a blog’s performance. Blogs with higher Technorati Authority and Blog Ranking are usually considered ‘the better blogs’. Moreover, blogs with higher Technorati Authority and Rank have higher chances of being featured at Technorati, which certainly improves a blog’s traffic. Now if you’re up for recognition and more traffic, here are some simple guidelines you can do to increase your Technorati Authority and Technorati Blog Rank in no time.
To increase your blog’s Technorati Authority and improve your blog’s Technorati blog rank, all you need to do is to increase the number of inbound links (links from other blogs pointing to your blog) to your blog. There are several ways you can do to increase your blog’s inbound links. Here are some simple ways you can do.
Claim Your Blog
The Technorati Authority of a blog only starts to increase once a blog has been claimed. Claiming your blog is quick and easy but before you can start claiming your blog, you need to register an account. Once you have registered an account with Technorati, you can start claiming your blog. There are two ways to claim a blog. You can go for a Quick Claim or a Post Claim. For Quick claim, you will be required to enter the username and password you use to enter your blog account while for a post claim, you will be required to create a post with a link to your Technorati profile. The post can be deleted or edited later once Technorati verified that you are the owner of the blog you are claiming.
Ready to Build Links
Once you’ve claimed your blog, your Technorati authority will start to improve so as your Technorati blog rank. You just need to work now on increasing the number of links to your blog. The most common way that bloggers do to increase the number of links to their blog is to leave comments to ‘DOFOLLOW’ blogs. Take note with the word ‘DOFOLLOW’. There are some blogs that implement a ‘NoFollow’ on the links in their comments so leaving your comments on ‘NoFollow’ blogs will not do you any good if your main objective is to increase your Technorati authority.
